The best homes in Britain are showcased annually in The Daily Telegraph Homebuilding and Renovating Awards and this year the competition was more popular than ever.
The mass of public votes have been tallied and the judge's final decision has been made. We are delighted to confirm that a Fleming Homes Timber Frame was a category winner for the Best Traditional Home 2009!

John and Sarah Cullens astonishing new Baronial-style country home wins best Traditional Home 2009
The award winning home was designed by Ian Scott Watson of the Border Design Centre. Situated in the Scottish Highlands, Ian's spectacular design represents all that is brilliant of a timber frame kit home. In particular, it highlights the flexibility and versatility of timber frame construction. Ian was able to design a home with specific reference to a traditional Baronial dwelling while at the same time incorporate all the necessities of a 21st century home, which are so readily exploited by a dwelling constructed from timber.
Fleming Homes would like to congratulate Ian Scott Watson and John and Sarah Cullen (home owners) for their marvellous achievements in creating such a grand award winning home.
