In 2011, Fleming Homes’ education and training agenda has diversified to incorporate a number of external events which aim at assisting self-builders, erectors, joiners, developers, builders, architects and the like operating within the current construction industry. Such events are run in conjunction with the Company’s wider strategy to launch an accreditation scheme aimed at reinforcing the perception of quality and professionalism associated with its products and services.

Fleming Homes are establishing a number of workshops and seminars to ensure its staff, its clients and the local trades who work alongside the Company are equipped with up to date information and tools to keep them current with the ever progressing self-build industry.

Technical Workshops

"Fleming Homes is committed to maintaining a solid reputation for quality. Through a series of technical workshops held annually, the company will highlight ‘best practice’ procedures relating specifically to the construction of a Fleming Homes timber frame home".

In May 2011 the Company hosted its first technical workshop for independent joiners who are involved in the erection of Fleming Homes timber frame kits for developers and self builders. The workshops specifically highlight the keys areas that are pivotal in promoting quality when erecting a Fleming Homes timber frame home. They are primarily recommended for self-builders and erectors, however we welcome anyone with a genuine interest in the erection of a Fleming Homes timber frame. Upon completion of this workshop all attendees will be added to our Workshop Accredited Erectors List.
