Job Summary
To design, coordinate and manage the construction phase of new build timber frame projects for self-builders.
Key responsibilities & competencies:
- Effectively manage a project throughout the construction phase in line with company standards and procedures
- Create Revit (AutoCAD) format construction drawings in line with company standards and procedures
- Create scheduling reports of project materials
- Establish an effective working relationship with clients to fully satisfy their service requirements
- Effectively communicate and liaise with all parties involved in a project to ensure all requirements are fully satisfied
- Prepare project risk assessments in accordance with company CDM procedures
- Carry out specific operations as identified by the Construction Design Director
- Visit construction sites to monitor and manage progress and address construction issues, as required
- Assist technical staff and contribute to the collective workload of the technical team
- Actively contribute to technical meetings
- Respond to inbound telephone enquiries in the event that reception cover is required
Requirements:
- Must hold a driving licence.
- Experienced AutoCAD user
- High level and broad range of computer skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Can do attitude and growth mindset
- Must be a collaborator
