Job Summary

To design, coordinate and manage the construction phase of new build timber frame projects for self-builders.

Key responsibilities & competencies:
  • Effectively manage a project throughout the construction phase in line with company standards and procedures
  • Create Revit (AutoCAD) format construction drawings in line with company standards and procedures
  • Create scheduling reports of project materials
  • Establish an effective working relationship with clients to fully satisfy their service requirements
  • Effectively communicate and liaise with all parties involved in a project to ensure all requirements are fully satisfied
  • Prepare project risk assessments in accordance with company CDM procedures
  • Carry out specific operations as identified by the Construction Design Director
  • Visit construction sites to monitor and manage progress and address construction issues, as required
  • Assist technical staff and contribute to the collective workload of the technical team
  • Actively contribute to technical meetings
  • Respond to inbound telephone enquiries in the event that reception cover is required 
Requirements:
  • Must hold a driving licence.
  • Experienced AutoCAD user
  • High level and broad range of computer skills
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Can do attitude and growth mindset
