Freedom of Choice, Backed by Certainty
On 1 September 2025, Scotframe announced proposed changes to its product range and manufacturing arrangements, including plans to relocate manufacturing to Cumbernauld, withdraw the Valutherm+ system by the end of 2025, and no longer supply several internal components (such as doors, site‑fitted windows, staircases, skirting and architraves). For self‑builders, that naturally raises a question: what happens to choice and continuity?
At Fleming Homes, both remain non‑negotiable. We were founded to give self‑builders the freedom to design and build a home that’s genuinely theirs – without mid‑project surprises.

Lenders and warranty providers mainly want continuity and compliance. Fleming Homes is recognized as a quality supplier by many of the warranty providers. We’ll coordinate with your chosen provider to share the necessary accreditation.
