Our online cost calculator provides ballpark costs for different floor areas so you can start to design your home with a level of confidence around how far your budget will stretch when it comes to size.
The cost calculator can also help guide your thought process around whether you choose to coordinate your project yourself, or employ a project manager or main contractor – a decision that will also influence what you can afford to build.
Cost calculator results are indicative only and don’t factor in variables such as geographic location, professional fees or extensive landscaping, they do, however, offer a great starting point. If you are unsure of floor area, use a design from our inspiration section to gain a better idea of the relationship between space and price.
